A home at golden hour with solar panels on the roof and warm light in the windows

Premium and reliable solar + battery solutions

Brownout-proof
your home.

The whole street goes dark. Your lights, your ref and your aircon keep running, because the battery took over before you looked up.

Power cuts at 6 PM JANARIX 30, one aircon running, 19 hours

The night asks for twelve hours. You get nineteen, and at 6 AM the roof takes over again.

Past 45 kWh, we measure before we quote.

Six units run in parallel on the same wiring, up to 90 kWh and 36 kW. Estates, resorts and farms usually land here. At this size the right answer depends on your building, not on a catalogue.

Your answer

JANARIX 30

365 nights a year, covered without the grid

Quoted after a free assessment

Simple by design

Three things happen. That's all.

Step 1 · Daytime

The sun does the work

Solar runs your home and fills the battery. If the roof falls short, the grid quietly makes up the difference.

Step 2 · Night

The battery takes over

No noise, no fuel, no smell. Nobody has to go outside and start anything.

Step 3 · Brownout

You won't even notice

It switches in under 20 ms. The whole street goes dark. Your Wi-Fi doesn't drop.

In daytime the roof array feeds the cabinet, which runs the house, and the grid supports it if the roof falls short. At night the battery runs the house on its own. During a brownout the grid is gone and the battery is already carrying the house, so nothing in it restarts. Sunlight After dark Roof array Inverter One sealed cabinet Your house The grid

The sun runs the house and fills the battery. If the roof falls short for a moment, the grid quietly makes up the difference.

The battery runs the house. Nothing is burning, nothing is running outside, and the grid is sitting there in reserve.

The grid is gone. The battery was already carrying the house, so there is nothing to switch and nothing reboots.

Start small, grow later

Your system is never stuck.

Both builds are made to grow, and nothing inside the house gets rewired to do it. What differs is the size of the step and what happens on the day, which is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

Standard build · V6000

One more sealed cabinet

15.07 kWh and 6 kW per cabinet. Six run in parallel, to 90 kWh and 36 kW.

  1. We check the space beside the cabinet you already have, and the run back to your panel.
  2. The new cabinet is set, connected and commissioned alongside the first.
  3. They work as one system, and the app still shows you one system.

Pro build · Mars I Plus

One more battery module

5.12 kWh a module, five on the inverter already fitted, so 5.12 to 30.72 kWh. Past that the next step is a second inverter.

  1. We check the headroom left on your inverter, which takes six modules.
  2. The module is added to the stack and the pack is balanced and tested.
  3. No new inverter, no new cabinet, and no second wall unit.
A Marstek Mars I Plus 5.12 kWh battery module

One 5.12 kWh module. On the Pro build, this is the step.

Rooftop panels reflecting a bright sky

Daylight

Between sunrise and sunset the roof is paying for itself.

After that the battery carries the house, and the street outside has nothing to do with it.

Notes on power, batteries and the grid.

What we run into on site, and the questions people actually ask us.

Before you ask

The five questions we get most.

No, and the difference shows up on the first night. A generator has to be started, it burns fuel you have to buy and store, it is loud enough to annoy your neighbours, and there is a gap between the brownout and the moment it runs.

A battery has already switched over before you look up from your phone. There is no gap, no noise, no fuel and no smell.

Then take the battery on its own. It plugs into an ordinary outlet, nothing is drilled and nothing is attached to the building, so no landlord approval is needed and it moves with you. See battery-only options.

Yes, and there are two kinds of step. Adding storage means a battery cabinet on the standard build, 15.07 kWh at a time to about 90 kWh, or a 5.12 kWh module on the Pro build. Output stays where it is either way.

Adding output means a whole second unit. On the standard build that is another V6000, so the battery and the inverter both double. On the Pro build it is another inverter with its own stack. Neither needs anything inside the house rewired.
